Data collected
This site collects minimal personal data. If you subscribe to the newsletter via the form in the footer, your email address is stored for the sole purpose of sending occasional updates on frontend engineering and portfolio updates.
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymised usage data — pages visited, referral source, browser type, and approximate geographic region. No personally identifiable information is sent to GA4. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the official browser extension.
How your data is used
- Email addresses are used exclusively for newsletter delivery.
- Analytics data helps improve site content and performance.
- No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing.
Data storage & retention
Email addresses are stored in a PostgreSQL database managed by Coolify on Hetzner infrastructure, with automated daily backups. Analytics data is stored in Google Analytics servers and retained for 14 months. Newsletter emails are retained until you unsubscribe.

You have the right to:
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time — every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
Cookies
This site uses minimal cookies for Google Analytics and theme preference (light/dark mode, stored in localStorage, not transmitted to servers). You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
