Privy Add-ins

Document signing add-ins that bring Privy directly into the cloud workspaces customers already live in — Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Dropbox.

Problem

Customers wanted to skip context-switching between Privy and their daily docs. Each platform switch was a friction point that hurt completion rate and left documents un-signed.

Approach

Built native add-ins targeting Google Workspace (Docs / Drive / Sheets), Microsoft Office (Word / Excel), and Dropbox using Privy SSO + Google Apps Script + Office Add-in APIs. Each integration runs the full signing flow inline, no platform-switching required.

Impact

• Three platform integrations live: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Dropbox
• Removed the platform-switch step from the signing flow entirely
• Single Privy session powers all three add-ins via SSO
• Reduces drop-off by keeping users inside their primary work surface
